Civil War 150th Anniversary – South Carolina ‘Secession Gala’ Sparks Controversy – ABC News.

I will make no comment on the “wisdom” of having a Secession Gala, but I would like to point out an interestingly worthless addition to this article.

Let us all remember, the narrative from the MSM is that the Tea Party is a group of hate-filled white racists.  So I guess it should be no surprise to find this in the article:

“The Tea Party movement does seem to indicate people looking to uphold the constitutional rights of states,” he said. “In the past year there have been a couple of dozen individual states that have passed sovereignty resolutions, including South Carolina, in response to the health care bill, saying it was unconstitutional to force a mandate upon us.”

This si the only mention of the Tea Party in the two page article.  Does this reference to the Tea party even make sense?  I have read it at least 10 times and I still don’t understand what the hell he is trying to say.

Regardless, the whole point was to once again, point out how racist the Tea Party is.  The people who read ABC online will certainly see this and not even question the quote – they will just lap it up as enforcement of their already firmly held belief in the lies of the left.

Oh, well.

Yep, my guess it is the only quote the AP had where someone mentioned the Tea party.
