Breaking news, the Obama administration has scrapped plans for high-speed rail, much to the chagrin of Vice-President Biden. Not to fret though, they have a plan in place – high-speed buses. This looks exciting! Thanks to the intrepid reporters at The Onion for this breaking news.

Oh boy, I can hardly wait to ride on one of those fast buses. 🙂

It does look like fun. But considering most people can’t drive at 65 mph, I have no clue who they are gonna get to drive these behemoths at 160 mph. With full knowledge it is a safety issue, I can’t imagine the government paying them much more than minimum wage.

Count me in as well! 🙂

Yeah, sign me up too. Should be a perfect job for the future retirees of America. They may not even have to pay us. Just picture it, a 75 year old jewish lady squinting through the steering wheel, laying on the horn. I’ll take the job, but I only want to drive the route on the roads that don’t have the special bus lane.

Did look kinda fun the way it was shucking and jiving through traffic. lol

Oh, that was just sublime. I love the $10,000.00 “walkie talkie” expense.

    Seriously… brilliant.

Yeah, the Onion does satire like no other.

I like one of the advantages of signing up for business class – “Can tell two coach class passengers to stop doing what they are doing”
