Why don’t we just take them at their word?

April 1, 2011

Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword!  People cannot be made obedient except with the sword!  The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for Holy Warriors!  There are hundreds of other psalms and Hadiths urging Muslims to value war and to fight.  Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war?  I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.  –  Ayatollah Khomeini

Now, the faint of heart and strong of tongue will say, “but the Ayatollah was Shia, the majority of Muslims are Sunni”, and they would be correct, so let’s go to the other side of Islam and see what they say.

The reasons for Jihad…are these: to establish God’s authority in the earth; to arrange human affairs according to the true guidance provided by God; to abolish all the Satanic forces and Satanic systems of life; to end the lordship of one man over others since all men are creatures of God and no one has the authority to make them his servants or to make arbitrary laws of them.  These reasons are sufficient for proclaiming Jihad. – from Milestones by Sayyid Qutb

For those unfamiliar with Sayyid Qutb, he was an Egyptian scholar, author, poet and educator – an all around Islamic renaissance man.  Oh, he was also the leading theologian of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.  Most notable in that list of reasons to proclaim Jihad, is the call to end the lordship of one man over others…or to make arbitrary laws of them.  Remember, Sharia is the only legal system necessary – it is passed down from Allah, and is the embodiment of a perfect way of life.  A government that makes arbitrary laws is any government that doesn’t follow Sharia since man is just randomly making up laws to control other men, according to Qutb.  For those thick of head, he is talking about Western democracies, as evidenced by his also calling our way of life Satanic.

Now, let me quote someone else:

That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear. – President Barack Obama

America is in peril.  We have a government (and not just Obama’s) that spends all its effort basically convincing themselves that the people who use the first two quotes in this post are lying to themselves.  The thinking goes, “Well that’s not what Islam is, so they obviously can’t be serious.”  Regardless of what Islam actually is, and I think there is more than enough evidence to prove it ain’t what our government says it is, what is important is to trust our enemies intentions with regard to what they think it is.

Imagine, if during the cold war, we arrested some crazy Russian communist agent, but he was saying all kinds of wacko stuff that didn’t comply with our understanding of the Soviet Union, would we be correct to say, “Oh, this guy is all wrong about the Soviet Union, we should just ignore him when he says he wants to infiltrate the CIA.”  Of course not!  To do that would be stupid at best and criminal at worst.  Unfortunately, that is exactly what our government is doing with Islam.

They are spending so much time convincing themselves that all the people who say anything remotely negative about Islam are two things, if non-Muslim, then they are racists (even though Islam is not a race, but I’m splitting hairs), or if they are a Muslim, then they must be an extremist, so they really aren’t Muslims to begin with.

Ok, ready for my answer if you fall in the second category.  WHO GIVES A FLYING CRAP!  What does it matter if we think they are true Muslims are not, the point is they believe what they believe and they are acting on that belief.  Ohh, and that belief comes from someone else, its in writing, and you can go find it if you look – SO THEY ARE NOT FREAKING ALONE!

And here is the amazing mental gymnastics it takes to be a Muslim apologist in America today.  Remember, if you are a Muslim but you do something that doesn’t fit our concept of Islam, then we dub you “not a real Muslim”, but if you are white, and you pull off a terrorist act a la Timothy McVeigh, then all of a sudden you are speaking for Christians, even if you DON”T claim to be.  Neat huh?

Look, I will be the first person in line to condemn any Christian who pulls off an act of violence in the name of Christianity, if you know of any, please point them out to me.  And if you can point out any Christian movements who seek to implement a theocratic totalitarian dictatorship over the face of the Earth, then I seriously want to know about them as well.

Until then, we need to focus on the words of our enemies and stop pretending like they don’t count because somehow they aren’t true.

careful, or you may end up with a fatwa on your head. Some may laugh at that, but unfortunately it is now a possibility in the U.S. I’ve decided to roll the dice and get the word out-but I feel like I am rolling the dice.

Yeah, hate to admit, I sometimes feel that way too. But we shouldn’t worry, it is a small group of people in Afghanistan, there is no one over here that would do anything, right? /sarc

I just read an article linked on another blog dealing with all the secretcy relating to Obama’s past. There now appears to be evidence that Obama’s college education was funded by a Saudi Prince. So maybe we have a real live “Manchurian Cadidate” living in the Whit House.

I never liked that moniker, Manchurian Candidate, because it connotes a lack of knowledge of one’s actions. Obama knows exactly what he is doing and what he is endorsing through his words and actions, or failures to act.

Our government is too timid to admit who the enemy is and what they stand for and until we actually admit what we are fighting against we will be perceived as weak and we will be in more danger. The terrorists have told us who they are; when are we going to listen to them?

    • April 1, 2011 10:25 pm

Exactly. It is sheer idiocy to disregard what our enemy is telling us because it doesn’t jibe with our conception of them. And the few people in our government who are actually crying foul and trying to get the various departments to wake-up, they unceremoniously find themselves re-assigned or unemployed. So not only do we not want to face facts, we don’t even want to hear them.

Political correctness is showing it’s intent, clouding the truth to destroy western civilization.

      That’s for sure.

So many Westerners do not take Islamomaniacs at their word because our educational system keeps pushing the big lie: “Islam is a religion of peace.”

Therefore, many Westerners won’t do any research to find out the FACTS which contradict that lie.

The lie is imprinted on their very brains. Ugh.

I think it is just easier and more consoling to the Western mind to be ignorant, plus, if our leaders can be ignorant then they can choose their favorite option of all, doing nothing.
